Ian Lawman hails from a normal working class family, but broke from following a traditional career path at the tender age of 16, when he became a top dancer and Fashion model. His modeling won him the accolade of being the Face of 97.

Ian went to dance school from the age of seven and at the same time went to martial arts classes to help build up his strength which would help when lifting girls. However, what Ian didn’t realise that instructor Tony Grey saw something in Ian that you only come across a few times in your lifetime. “Ian is a person that has no fear and was happy in fighting boys ten years his senior, Ian had a natural ability to punch, kick and think at the same time that made him unique.

By the age of sixteen Ian had trained in dance and also became a black belt in two martial arts, later becoming a master in three, making Ian a supple fighting machine.

The bright lights of London beckoned Ian into a full dancing career but only to be cut short after the sudden death of his sister at 24 years of age in a road traffic accident. Ian had already lost his best friend; Paul at the age of 15, so the bright lights were turned off only to lead Ian into the life of sex, drugs and rock and roll.

He decided to move down to Bournemouth and soon became head door attendant in a well-known nightclub, a local haunt for Royal Marines, which was trouble from the start. Ian soon gained respect as he won 26 fights in 28 at the camp, becoming a hit with the soldiers as a street fighter. News travelled fast and Ian was head hunted by a top celebrity 'members' only club.

Ian’s Psychic Career started as a guest on a show called Psychic Live time back in the early 90s after which Ian met up with freelance journalist Alan Breeze who help him launch his career within the Psychic world, Alan who after many years testing Psychics loved the way Ian worked and always coming out on top, Alan now works with Ian on many projects.
